Job Summary: REMA TIP TOP North America Inc. is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Junior Product Manager to join our team. The Junior Product Manager will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Product Manager in the development of new product opportunities.
Assist and provide support to the Product Manager by developing strong product and industry knowledge, seek out opportunities to develop and introduce new products.
Understand products, features and functionality.
Continuously seek out opportunities to expand knowledge of product line.
Ability to accurately communicate information which describe our products; demonstrate their use and specifications.
Execute the strategy side of our TRM segment.
Assist the sales teams and marketing groups to better promote our products.
Develop sales and marketing tools for our sales teams and marketing groups for presentation to our customers; provide product and application training to our teams and customers.
Track results to improve sales and marketing effectiveness.
Together with the sales team, develop strong and lasting relationships with suppliers, customers, and the trade with which we conduct our business.
Communicate clearly and effectively within our company, trade organizations, and customers to promote our capabilities, products and services.
Participate in company meetings, trade group meetings, trade shows, seminars, presentations, promotional events, and customer-sponsored gatherings.
Manage TRM business based on expanding existing and new products for sales growth.
Work in conjunction with RTTNA management operations to secure new products sourcing, forecasting, purchasing, production or inventory needs.
Work with the Business Development Manager to access competitive worthiness of pricing and marketing programs.
Collaborate with National Sales Manager to educate or introduce new product details to the sales group and internal departments.
Provide on-time written reports of activities by product or vendor, and other competitive and marketing information that might impact RTTNA goals.
Protect the assets of the company with regard to proprietary information, hardware, communication devices, vehicles and products, as determined by company policy or best business practices.
Accept training in areas that will improve job and/or personal performance.
Moderate travel – mainly domestic, but some international.
Skills & Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2-5 years of experience.
Work experience in technical sales or applications consulting, preferably with tire, rubber, automotive products and services, preferred but not required.
Marketing experience – product sourcing, quality awareness, pricing, promotion and advertising, preferred but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
Excellent planning and time management skills.
A highly organized; creative, innovative, analytical and strategic thinker.
Results-oriented leader with sound decision making skills and adept at problem solving.
