We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented National Account Manager to join our team and drive success with key national customers.

Job Summary:

As a National Account Manager at REMA TIP TOP, you will play a pivotal role in managing relationships, providing training & support and developing opportunities with major regional, national and strategic accounts across the country for our tire repair division. You will be responsible for building and nurturing long-term partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Your ability to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional customer service will ensure that REMA TIP TOP remains the preferred partner for our customers in tire repair solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for regional and national accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal sales, product, and service teams to deliver customized solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, while also pursuing new account acquisitions.
  • Drive business through fostering positive business relationships with the largest customers in the business.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers that function with a professional procurement department.
  • Communicate with General Manager regarding new and existing customers, account maintenance, new product requirements, product evaluation, product projections and sales promotions.
  • Frequent travel, routine visits to assigned national account customers, attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote REMA TIP TOP’s solutions and expand professional networks. Visit each National Account HQ at least 2 times per year.
  • Perform training seminars for National Accounts and end user customers.
  • Interact with National Accounts and their customers within the assigned territory to continuously improve their product knowledge, skills and training of products.
  • Evaluate sales reports to determine needs of the assigned territory in distribution and product sales.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Present National Account issues to management team; competitor information, new products, supply issues and sales aids.
  • Provide on-time and accurate call reports and any other information that directly impacts the territory.
  • Continual training to enhance job and personal performance.
  • Provide assistance to the team when necessary.
  • Projects and special assignments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field, preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in national account management, managing large customer accounts with professional procurement departments, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the tire repair is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to maintain and grow client relationships (50%+ local and domestic air travel)
